ONE BIG FAMILY
Every Sunday we meet together as a community, encourage each other in our faith
and celebrate God and what he has done for us through his son, Jesus.
Whether you are old or young, a long-term Christian, a new believer or simply
exploring the claims of Christ, you will be welcome here.
We have a diverse group in our Church who are each in a different place on their
faith journey, and our mission is the same: We seek to welcome you, encourage you, and nurture a longing in
you to know God more each day.
Services take place in the main auditorium, followed by morning tea, where people can relax and get to know each other.
We also stream our weekly services online. Join us here:

WHERE TO FIND US
YBC is based at 50 Frape Avenue, Yokine.
We’re in a cul-de-sac, behind the Community Garden that you can see from Flinders Street, so you’ll need to come around the block via Lawley Street.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our services generally include: Singing, Prayer, Bible reading, Announcements, and a Sermon (message from the scripture). Our teaching is Bible-focused and intended to challenge, strengthen and help you in your faith.
On the first Sunday of each month, our COMBINED SERVICE starts at 10:30am,
including The Lord’s Supper (Communion), where we symbolically remember the
sacrifice of Jesus for our sins.
Services are usually around 70-75 minutes in duration, followed by morning tea together.
We know that visiting a new Church and meeting lots of new people can be a bit
overwhelming, so we make it as easy as we can. Our greeters are available to meet you at the door, show you around, introduce you
to others and answer any questions you may have.
If you enjoy your time with us and would like to connect more, we can also put you in touch with small groups that we run regularly, matching you with other people in the same life and faith stage as you.
We also hold Church Services for special events such as Easter and Christmas, so be sure to check out our website around these times for more information.
